Shipping, Returns & Delivery Policy

Leongatha Compounding Pharmacy

At Leongatha Compounding Pharmacy, we are committed to providing safe, timely, and reliable service. Please read the following policy carefully to understand how we manage orders, shipping, returns, and delivery.

Order Processing & Cancellations

  • Once an order has been placed, it cannot be edited, added to, or cancelled.
     

  • Please ensure all details are correct before submitting your order.
     

  • As all products are custom-prepared for individual use, we do not issue refunds for order cancellations once accepted.

Shipping Information

  • We use the services of Australia Post to provide the most suitable delivery method based on the nature of your order.
     

  • Orders placed on weekends or Victorian public holidays will be processed and dispatched on the next business day (Monday to Friday).
     

  • All online orders are processed and shipped from Leongatha, Victoria.

Estimated Delivery Times 

  • General Items: Please allow 2–3 business days from order placement, provided all items are in stock.
     

  • Compounded Prescription Medicines: Dispatch times may vary depending on the complexity of the medication. We will advise estimated timeframes at the time of order.

Cold Chain Medicines

  • We take all necessary measures to ensure that temperature-sensitive medicines are packed and transported appropriately.

Delivery Instructions & Authority to Leave

  • If no one is available to receive the delivery and ‘Authority to Leave’ has been selected, your parcel will be left at the address provided.
     

  • If no authority is given and you are unavailable, a card may be left with instructions for re-delivery or collection.
     

  • For Schedule 8 Controlled Drugs, someone must be available to sign for the delivery. ‘Authority to Leave’ is not permitted for these medications.

Delivery Limitations & Liability

  • If we are unable to fulfill your order or deliver to your location, we will contact you to arrange cancellation or an alternative address.
     

  • While we aim to meet delivery estimates, delays may occur due to factors beyond our control (e.g., stock shortages, carrier delays).
     

  • To the extent permitted by law, Leongatha Health Pty Ltd is not liable for any losses, costs, or damages resulting from delayed delivery.
     

  • We are not responsible for damage or loss of goods that occurs during shipping, despite our best efforts to package items securely.

Returns & Exchanges

Damaged or Defective Goods

  • If your order arrives damaged or defective, we will re-prepare and resend the item at no additional cost.

  • Please contact us promptly by phone or email to report the issue.

Prescription & Compounded Items

In line with Victorian Health Regulations, we cannot accept returns or offer refunds on:

  • Prescription medications
     

  • Compounded medicines
     

These items are prepared specifically for individual use and cannot be resold.

Your Consumer Rights

Under Australian Consumer Law, Leongatha Compounding Pharmacy will accept product returns and offer an exchange, refund, or repair where:

  • The product is faulty or not of acceptable quality, or
     

  • It is significantly different from what was described or shown, or
     

  • The product is not fit for its intended purpose, or
     

  • The product is unsafe, and
     

  • You can present a valid Leongatha Compounding Pharmacy receipt, online tax invoice, or other adequate proof of purchase.
